We are looking for an experienced Product and Test Engineer (PTE) to join the VRM – Power Group. The role will be responsible for developing, debugging, qualifying, and releasing semiconductor test programs from the initial sample stage through final production release.
The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in analog and mixed-signal ATE testing, test program development, yield improvement, test-time optimization, and product qualification. The candidate will work closely with OSAT, Reliability, Design, and Product Engineering teams to ensure product quality, reliability, safety, and production readiness.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, debug, and optimize ATE test programs for analog and mixed-signal products.
- Support the complete product test lifecycle, from initial samples through production release.
- Develop and maintain test hardware schematics and optimize hardware resources for multisite testing.
- Develop qualification and characterization test programs across different operating corners.
- Analyze test time and implement strategies to improve test-time efficiency and throughput.
- Perform detailed yield analysis, identify root causes of low yield, and implement corrective actions.
- Generate and maintain appropriate yield limits and test limits based on product requirements and test data.
- Release final production test programs to OSAT and monitor production yield.
- Work closely with OSAT teams to improve yield, test coverage, and test-time performance.
- Collaborate with Reliability Engineering teams to support successful product qualification and reliability testing.
- Analyze reliability and production data and prepare drift reports.
- Fine-tune production test programs based on drift and performance analysis.
- Troubleshoot complex test failures and provide effective, data-driven solutions.
- Use laboratory and bench equipment such as:
- Oscilloscopes
- Spectrum analyzers
- Voltage sources
- Frequency generators
- Other electronic measurement and test equipment
- Maintain product safety, quality, and test standards throughout the product lifecycle.
- Prepare technical documentation, test reports, and analysis as required.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional engineering and manufacturing teams.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 6+ years of relevant experience in:
- Hardware design
- ATE test program development
- Test program debugging
- Analog and mixed-signal testing
- Strong hands-on experience with Advantest T2K ATE is mandatory.
- Good understanding of semiconductor testing, characterization, qualification, and production test processes.
- Strong knowledge of yield analysis, test limits, and test-time optimization.
- Experience working with OSAT/manufacturing teams is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of Python scripting for test automation and data analysis is desirable.
- Good understanding of electronic measurement equipment and laboratory instruments.

Preferred Experience
Candidates with experience in VRM/Power semiconductor products, analog/mixed-signal devices, high-volume semiconductor manufacturing, OSAT operations, and Advantest ATE platforms will be preferred.
Role Objective
The primary objective of this role is to ensure that semiconductor products are successfully tested, qualified, optimized, and released for high-volume production, while continuously improving yield, quality, reliability, test coverage, and test efficiency.
Pay: ₹100,000.00 - ₹200,000.00 per month
