Hiring: Textile Design Faculty (Full-Time / Visiting)
Location : Andheri/Thane/Matunga/
Remuneration: 25000/- to 35000/-
Timings : 8:30 am to 5:30 pm
LeMark Institute invites applications from passionate and experienced professionals for the position of Textile Design Faculty to teach both Theory and Practical subjects.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver engaging theory lectures and practical studio sessions in Textile Design.
* Prepare lesson plans, teaching material, assignments, and assessments.
* Mentor students and support their creative and technical development.
* Contribute to curriculum enhancement in line with current industry practices.
* Facilitate industry exposure through workshops, guest sessions, and live projects.
* Coordinate with the Academic Department for effective course delivery.
Core Skills Required:
* Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Textile Design or a related discipline.
* Strong knowledge of textile fibres, yarns, weaving, printing, dyeing, surface ornamentation, fabric construction, and textile processes.
* Proficiency in textile design development, colour theory, material exploration, and trend research.
* Working knowledge of industry-standard design software (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or relevant textile CAD software) will be an added advantage.
* Excellent communication, presentation, and mentoring skills.
* Prior teaching and/or industry experience in Textile Design will be preferred.
