A Quality Control (QC) Engineer for doors and windows (uPVC/Aluminum/Steel) ensures products meet quality, safety, and functional standards through inspections at all production stages, from raw materials to finished goods. Key responsibilities include inspecting for defects, conducting CCGI certification checks, analyzing root causes of failures, and maintaining documentation.
Key Responsibilities and Skills
- Inspections: Conduct inward, line, and final QC checks for materials (profiles, glass, hardware).
- Compliance: Ensure products adhere to company standards, specifications, and client requirements.
- Testing: Operate and calibrate testing equipment to verify strength, sealing, and functionality.
- Documentation: Prepare inspection reports, maintain quality records, and manage,non-conformity documentation.
- Problem Solving: Analyze defects, identify root causes, and implement corrective/preventive actions.
Qualifications
- Experience: Generally 2–6 years in quality control, specifically within the manufacturing of doors, windows, or aluminum/uPVC profiles.
- Technical Knowledge: Understanding of,uPVC/Aluminum fabrication processes, material properties, and quality standards.
- Skills: Strong attention to detail, proficiency in measurement tools, and good communication for cross-functional collaboration.
