Job Overview
QBay Careers is seeking a motivated and confident Academic Counsellor with HR and interview handling experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for guiding clients on overseas academic and career opportunities, conducting mock interviews, and evaluating candidate readiness for placements and admissions.
This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about mentoring, talent assessment, and career development.
Key Responsibilities
- Counsel students and professionals regarding overseas academic and career opportunities
- Conduct mock interviews and evaluate candidate performance professionally
- Provide structured feedback and improvement guidance to candidates
- Assess candidate profiles and recommend suitable academic/career pathways
- Support candidates through interview preparation and application processes
- Maintain regular follow-ups to track candidate progress and readiness
- Coordinate with internal teams for smooth candidate support and placement process
- Maintain proper documentation of counselling sessions and candidate updates
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in HR, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum 1 year experience in HR, recruitment, academic counselling, or related field
- Experience in conducting interviews or candidate assessments preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to guide, mentor, and motivate candidates effectively
- Good organizational and documentation skills
- Confident, professional, and client-focused approach
Pay: From ₹15,000.00 per month
