About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic, result-driven Operations Manager – MICE to lead end-to-end domestic and international group travel operations (GIT). In this role, you will be responsible for seamless execution, vendor management, precise financial costing, and maintaining exceptional relationships with corporate clients to ensure unforgettable event and travel experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-End MICE Execution: Oversee and manage full-cycle domestic and international MICE operations, ensuring smooth execution from initial briefing to post-event settlement.
- Costing & Proposals: Formulate competitive commercial proposals, accurate itineraries, and detailed cost sheets aligned with client budgets and requirements.
- Contracting & Vendor Management: Lead negotiations and contracting with hotels, airlines, local ground handlers (DMCs), and third-party vendors to secure optimal rates and terms.
- Client Coordination: Function as the primary point of contact for corporate clients, managing day-to-day communication, expectations, and on-ground logistics.
- Operational Quality Control: Ensure high service delivery standards, manage risk contingencies during travel/events, and resolve operational issues promptly.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience: Proven experience (3+ years preferred) in handling MICE (GIT) operations within the travel or corporate event management industry.
- Industry Expertise: Deep operational knowledge of both domestic and international MICE destinations, airline ticketing processes, and hotel dynamics.
- Vendor Network: Established relationships with key hotel chains, DMCs, airlines, and event vendors.
- Skills: Strong financial acumen (costing/budgeting), excellent negotiation, communication, and client management skills.
- Proficiency: Hands-on experience with Microsoft Excel, proposal design tools, and travel booking systems.
Pay: ₹550,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
