Program Type: Fixed-Term Traineeship / Apprenticeship (Split Shift: Two 4-hour sessions)
Monthly Stipend: ₹12,000 – ₹15,000

Role Overview: Chowdhary Eye Centre is offering a comprehensive traineeship for a highly motivated, fresh nursing graduate eager to build a career in specialized ophthalmic care. This is a dynamic, hybrid learning role where the trainee will receive hands-on guidance in both clinical nursing and healthcare administration. The successful candidate will be trained to transition seamlessly between assisting our surgical teams during active procedures and managing the front desk during routine OPD hours.
Key Learning Areas & Responsibilities:
- Clinical Training: Guided, hands-on learning in daycare ophthalmic OPD assistance, patient preparation, and direct surgical assistance under the supervision of attending ophthalmologists.
- Sterilization Protocols: Training in standard OT sterility, autoclave operation, and biomedical waste management.
- Front Desk & Administration: Practical training in appointment management, patient billing, cashless/TPA workflow coordination, and electronic medical records management.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Education: Dip. GNM or B.Sc. (Nursing).
- Registration: Valid or provisional registration with the Delhi Nursing Council (DNC).
- Technical Skills: Basic computer literacy, comfort with learning billing software, and proficient data entry skills.
- Soft Skills: Excellent verbal communication skills (English and Hindi), an eagerness to learn, and a strong sense of patient empathy.
