About the Role
VIBGYOR High School, NIBM, Pune is seeking a passionate, dedicated, and experienced Mathematics Teacher for Secondary Grades (7–9) with a strong background in the Cambridge International Education (CIE) curriculum. The ideal candidate should possess excellent subject knowledge, effective classroom management skills, and a student-centric approach to teaching and learning.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Mathematics lessons aligned with the CIE curriculum framework for Grades 7–9.
- Develop lesson plans, assessments, worksheets, and learning resources that support student achievement.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Monitor, assess, and evaluate students' academic progress through formative and summative assessments.
- Provide timely feedback to students and parents regarding academic performance and development.
- Differentiate instruction to cater to diverse learning needs and abilities.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, assessments, and progress reports.
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings, school events, staff meetings, and professional development programs.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum delivery and educational outcomes.
- Integrate technology and innovative teaching methodologies into classroom instruction.
Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Mathematics or a related field.
- B.Ed. is mandatory.
- Minimum 2–6 years of teaching experience in the CIE/IGCSE curriculum.
- Strong understanding of Cambridge teaching methodologies and assessment practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using educational technology and digital learning platforms.
- Ability to create an engaging and learner-focused classroom environment.
