About the Role
We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented WordPress Website Developer with 1-2 years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining modern, responsive websites. This role offers the flexibility of working remotely while contributing to exciting web development projects for global clients across multiple industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites using industry best practices.
- Build responsive, mobile-friendly websites from Figma, Adobe XD, or other design files.
- Customize WordPress themes and plugins to meet project requirements.
- Develop reusable templates and website components.
- Integrate third-party plugins, REST APIs, CRM tools, payment gateways, forms, and analytics platforms.
- Optimize websites for speed, Core Web Vitals, SEO, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility.
- Troubleshoot website issues, plugin conflicts, security vulnerabilities, and performance bottlenecks.
- Perform regular website maintenance, backups, updates, and security enhancements.
- Collaborate closely with UI/UX designers, content creators, digital marketers, and project managers.
- Maintain clean, well-documented, and reusable code following WordPress coding standards.
- Stay updated with the latest WordPress releases, plugins, web technologies, and security best practices.
Required Skills
- 1-2 years of professional experience in WordPress development.
- Strong knowledge of WordPress CMS, themes, plugins, and customization.
- Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and PHP.
- Experience with Elementor, or other popular page builders.
- Understanding of REST APIs and third-party integrations.
- Experience working with cPanel, hosting environments, DNS, SSL certificates, and website migrations.
- Knowledge of responsive web design principles.
- Familiarity with Git or other version control systems.
- Basic understanding of technical SEO, website security, and performance optimization.
- Experience using browser developer tools for debugging.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or diploma.
- Basic knowledge of AI-assisted development tools is an added advantage.
- Familiarity with Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and Search Console is a plus.
