Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Hypermarket Manager to manage the overall operations of the store. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sales growth, profitability, customer satisfaction, inventory control, staff management, merchandising, and daily store operations.
The candidate should have strong leadership skills, retail knowledge, and the ability to manage a large team while maintaining company standards and SOPs.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the overall day-to-day operations of the hypermarket.
- Achieve monthly and annual sales, profit, and operational targets.
- Monitor department-wise sales performance and take corrective actions.
- Ensure proper product availability, merchandising, pricing, and display standards.
- Control stock loss, wastage, damages, expiry, and inventory variance.
- Monitor stock receiving, transfers, replenishment, and stock accuracy.
- Ensure proper implementation of company SOPs and operational standards.
- Manage and motivate supervisors, team leaders, and store staff.
- Prepare staff duty schedules and ensure proper manpower utilization.
- Monitor employee attendance, discipline, grooming, and customer-service standards.
- Conduct regular department meetings and performance reviews.
- Handle customer complaints and ensure high customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate with HR, Purchase, Finance, Warehouse, and Head Office.
- Monitor store expenses, utilities, and operational costs.
- Ensure proper cash handling and coordination with the accounts/cashier team.
- Monitor promotional activities, offers, and seasonal campaigns.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, safety, and statutory requirements.
- Conduct regular stock checks, cycle counts, and inventory audits.
- Analyze key retail KPIs such as Sales, ATV, UPT, Gross Margin, Stock Turnover, Wastage, Shrinkage, and Customer Satisfaction.
- Identify operational problems and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Prepare and submit regular store performance reports to management.
- Ensure the store is clean, organized, safe, and customer-ready at all times.

Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in hypermarket, supermarket, supermarket chain, or organized retail.
- Previous experience in a Store Manager / Hypermarket Manager / Operations Manager role is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of retail operations and inventory management.
- Good leadership and team-management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Good communication and customer-handling skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and achieve targets.
- Knowledge of retail KPIs and basic computer applications.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, weekends, and holidays as required.
Preferred Candidate
Candidates with experience in large-format retail, multi-department hypermarkets, FMCG retail, inventory control, team management, and sales target achievement will be preferred.

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
