Job Description
A UPSC General Studies (GS) Faculty is responsible for teaching and mentoring civil services aspirants for UPSC Prelims and Mains examinations. The faculty member should possess strong subject knowledge, excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach General Studies subjects including History, Polity, Geography, Economy, Environment, Science & Technology, Ethics, and Current Affairs.
- Guide students for answer writing practice and exam strategy.
- Analyze previous year questions and latest UPSC trends.
- Evaluate students’ performance and provide feedback for improvement..
- Maintain discipline and ensure smooth classroom management.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation/Post-Graduation in relevant subjects.
- Prior experience in UPSC/Competitive exam teaching preferred.
- Candidates with UPSC Mains/Interview experience will be an added advantage.
- Strong command over UPSC syllabus and exam pattern.
- Excellent English/Hindi communication and presentation skills.
Experience
- 1–5 years of teaching experience in UPSC/State PCS coaching preferred.
