ABOUT THE ROLE The IT&D Analyst – SAP Logistics is responsible for supporting, enhancing, and maintaining SAP logistics processes across global Supply Chain, Warehousing, Distribution, and Materials Management operations. This role collaborates closely with Supply Chain, Warehousing, Procurement, Manufacturing, Customer Service, and IT teams to ensure smooth logistics execution, inventory accuracy, transportation efficiency, and continuous process improvement across end-to-end operations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES · Support SAP Logistics processes including inbound logistics, outbound logistics, stock transfers, warehouse operations, transportation processes, and cross-dock activities. · Configure logistics master data and functional settings such as shipping points, routes, storage locations, movement types, picking strategies, packing instructions, and transportation planning parameters. · Support end-to-end Warehousing (WM) processes including putaway, picking, transfer orders, HU management, physical inventory, and warehouse task confirmations. · Participate in testing cycles including unit testing, integration testing, UAT, regression testing, and cutover preparation for Logistics and Warehousing deployments. · Prepare functional specifications for custom reports, logistics interfaces (3PL, WMS, TMS), IDoc/EDI enhancements, barcode/RFID integration, and workflow improvements. · Monitor integrations across MM (material movements), SD (deliveries & shipments), PP (material staging), PM (spare parts), and FI (inventory valuation). · Resolve operational issues related to picking errors, shipment failures, route determination, delivery blocks, stock discrepancies, and warehouse task failures. · Support warehouse and logistics teams in day-to-day operations including GI/GR issues, transfer order processing, stock corrections, and handling unit management. · Work with managed service providers to ensure timely incident resolution, SLA adherence, and proactive system performance improvements. · Perform root-cause analysis for recurring logistics/warehouse issues and recommend long-term process fixes. · Support logistics master data governance for storage locations, shipping points, warehouse structures, packaging specs, and transportation lanes. · Support yearly activities such as physical inventory, stock reconciliations, transport planning updates, and audit documentation.
EXPERIENCE YOU BRING: · Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Engineering, IT, or related field. · 12–14 years of hands-on experience in SAP WM/ EWM · Strong understanding of inbound/outbound logistics, warehouse operations, picking/packing, shipping, stock transfers, and logistics documentation. · Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. · Ability to work with global business teams across time zones and support time-critical O2C operations
