Job Summary
A painter is responsible for preparing surfaces and applying paint, varnish, coatings, or finishes to walls, buildings, machinery, furniture, or other structures to improve appearance and protect surfaces.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, scraping, and filling cracks
- Mix and match paint colors
- Apply paint using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment
- Cover furniture and floors with protective materials
- Remove old paint when necessary
- Ensure smooth and quality finishing
- Follow safety procedures while handling chemicals and tools
- Maintain painting tools and equipment
- Estimate material requirements and report shortages
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
