We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented QC Executive / QC Officer to join our Quality Control team. The ideal candidate should have experience in Pharmaceutical, Ayurvedic, or Nutraceutical manufacturing with hands-on expertise in analytical instruments and laboratory testing while ensuring compliance with GMP, GLP, and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine analysis of raw materials, in-process samples, finished products, and stability samples.
- Operate and maintain analytical instruments such as HPLC, GC, IR, and ICP-OES.
- Conduct routine chemical testing, limit tests, and titration analysis as per approved analytical methods.
- Perform calibration and verification of laboratory instruments as per SOPs.
- Prepare, review, and maintain QC documentation, analytical reports, logbooks, and laboratory records.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, GLP, Data Integrity (ALCOA+), and regulatory requirements.
- Investigate OOS/OOT results, laboratory deviations, and implement corrective actions.
- Troubleshoot analytical instruments and coordinate with service engineers when required.
- Follow laboratory safety practices and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Coordinate with QA, Production, and other departments to ensure timely testing and product release.
Required Skills & Experience
- Hands-on experience with HPLC, GC, IR, and knowledge of ICP-OES.
- Experience in routine chemical testing, limit tests, and titration analysis.
- Experience in calibration of laboratory instruments.
- Strong knowledge of GMP, GLP, Data Integrity, and regulatory compliance.
- Good understanding of QC documentation, SOPs, and laboratory practices.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and documentation practices.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
Required Candidate Profile
- B.Sc./M.Sc. Chemistry, B.Pharm, M.Pharm, or an equivalent qualification.
- Experience in Quality Control (QC) within Pharmaceutical, Ayurvedic, or Nutraceutical manufacturing.
- Hands-on experience with HPLC, GC, IR, and routine laboratory testing.
- Strong understanding of GMP/GLP, Data Integrity, and regulatory guidelines.
- Experience in instrument handling, calibration, documentation, and troubleshooting.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
Preferred Experience
- Experience with pharmacopoeial testing (IP, USP, BP, EP) will be an added advantage.
- Exposure to regulatory audits and quality management systems is preferred.
