- Patient Care:
- Provide holistic nursing care to patients, including administering medications, injections, IV fluids, and monitoring vitals.
- Assist in personal hygiene, feeding, mobility, and comfort of patients.
- Maintain accurate patient records and charts.
- Clinical Duties:
- Assist doctors during ward rounds, procedures, and emergencies.
- Prepare and maintain sterile equipment and instruments.
- Follow infection control practices and hospital protocols strictly.
- Perform nursing procedures such as wound dressing, catheterization, NG tube insertion, etc.
- Emergency Response:
- Identify patient’s condition changes and promptly report to the physician.
- Provide first aid and emergency care in critical situations.
- Administrative & Documentation:
- Maintain proper nursing notes, treatment charts, and discharge summaries as required.
- Ensure safe custody and administration of drugs.
- Report and record any incidents, accidents, or unusual observations.
- Coordination & Communication:
- Coordinate with doctors, fellow nurses, and other healthcare staff to ensure smooth patient care.
- Provide counseling and health education to patients and attendants.
- Act as a bridge between patients, families, and the healthcare team.
- Professional Conduct:
- Adhere to ethical nursing practices and maintain patient confidentiality.
- Participate in training, workshops, and continuing education programs.
- Maintain discipline, punctuality, and a positive attitude at work.
