Role Overview
We are looking for a highly skilled VoIP Infrastructure Architect to design, build, and scale a high-performance voice infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Asterisk-based systems, VoIP protocols, and cloud deployments, with the ability to support large-scale, real-time communication environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Infrastructure Scaling: Set up, configure, and maintain Asterisk servers optimized for high-density environments, specifically handling 100+ live campaigns simultaneously.
- System Integration: Manage and troubleshoot SIP trunking and integration with Siprix for seamless conference calling and softphone connectivity.
- Call Routing & Optimization: Implement advanced dialplans, call routing policies, and load-balancing strategies to ensure zero-lag communication.
- Security & Monitoring: Deploy TLS-secured SIP and manage encryption certificates to ensure data privacy and system integrity.
- Performance Tuning: Monitor system health and optimize voice quality (MOS), addressing issues like one-way audio, jitter, and call drops.
- Cloud Management: Deploy and manage voice infrastructure within AWS or Azure cloud environments.
Technical Requirements
- Asterisk Expertise: Proven experience in building and scaling Asterisk-based PBX systems from scratch.
- Protocol Knowledge: Deep understanding of SIP, RTP, RTCP, and related VoIP protocols.
- Client Integration: Experience with Siprix SDKs or similar SIP-based softphone integrations.
- Linux/DevOps: Proficiency in Linux administration and scripting (PHP, Python) for automation.
- Troubleshooting: Expert level skills with Wireshark and other network diagnostic tools.
