We are a fast-growing Investment Banking and Corporate Advisory firm – Corporate Advisory & Consultant (CAC) Pvt. Ltd. working with high-growth startups, SMEs, and growth-stage companies on equity fundraising, structured debt, M&A, and pre-IPO advisory mandates.
Our focus is on helping companies scale from growth stage to IPO readiness, while connecting them with the right venture capital, private equity, family offices, and institutional investors.
Role Overview
We are looking for a high-energy Business Development Associate who can originate investment banking opportunities and build relationships with founders, promoters, and CXOs of high-growth companies.
This is a front-end deal sourcing role, where success is measured by quality mandates generated and relationships built within the startup and corporate ecosystem.
The role is ideal for someone who understands startup funding, growth capital, and capital markets, and is passionate about working with founders and investors.
Key Responsibilities
1. Deal Origination
- Identify high-growth startups, emerging companies, and SMEs looking to raise equity, structured debt, or pre-IPO capital.
- Source opportunities for Series A to Pre-IPO funding mandates.
- Identify companies preparing for IPO, strategic partnerships, or acquisitions.
- Generate and convert investment banking mandates.
2. Founder & CXO Outreach
- Engage with Founders, Promoters, CEOs, and CFOs to understand their capital requirements.
- Build relationships with startup founders, growth-stage companies, and corporate decision makers.
- Conduct discovery conversations to evaluate fundraising readiness and strategic fit.
3. Market Intelligence
- Track high-growth companies across sectors such as fintech, healthtech, SaaS, consumer, logistics, manufacturing, and new-age tech.
- Monitor companies approaching funding rounds or IPO readiness.
- Maintain a database of founders, investors, and strategic partners.
4. Mandate Conversion Support
- Work closely with the Investment Banking team to onboard clients.
- Support pitch meetings, mandate discussions, and initial deal structuring conversations.
- Coordinate internally to ensure smooth deal pipeline development.
Candidate Profile
Experience
- 1–5 years experience in:
- Investment Banking / Corporate Finance
- Startup fundraising advisory
- Venture Capital / Private Equity ecosystem
- Financial services business development
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance / Business / Economics
- MBA- (Sales/ Marketing) / CFA (preferred but not mandatory)
Required Skills
- Strong networking and relationship-building skills
- Understanding of startup funding lifecycle (Seed → Series A → Series B → Growth → Pre-IPO)
- Ability to engage with founders and CXOs
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Strong startup ecosystem awareness
- Proactive lead generation and outreach capability

Compensation
- Fixed Salary + High Performance Incentives (Based on the profile).
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
