We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Pricing Executive to manage product pricing, invoice verification, and payment reconciliation across our US operations.
About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and analytical Finance & Accounts Manager to oversee the financial operations of our US supermarket retail business. Working closely with the CFO, the role will focus on financial reporting, cash flow, profitability, cost control, forecasting, and identifying opportunities to improve business performance and support strategic growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day financial and accounting operations.
- Review and manage Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), bank transactions, and cash flow.
- Ensure accurate and timely accounting in QuickBooks.
- Prepare and review daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports.
- Analyze P&L, COGS, margins, expenses, and overall business performance.
- Monitor store-level profitability and identify financial red flags.
- Identify cost leakages, unnecessary expenses, and opportunities to improve profitability.
- Monitor cash flow and recommend strategies for better utilization of funds.
- Prepare financial forecasts, budgets, and business performance projections.
- Conduct ROI, break-even, payback period, and profitability analysis for new projects and expansion opportunities.
- Build financial models to support investment and growth decisions.
- Track key financial and operational KPIs across stores.
- Develop and maintain financial SOPs and strong internal controls.
- Manage and guide the accounting and finance team.
- Ensure timely completion of financial tasks and reporting deadlines.
- Work closely with the CFO and provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Identify areas of underperformance and recommend actions to improve revenue and overall financial performance.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or related field.
- 3–6 years of relevant finance & accounting experience, preferably in US supermarket/grocery retail.
- Strong hands-on experience with QuickBooks Desktop and Excel.
- Good knowledge of US accounting, banking, P&L, COGS, cash flow, and financial reporting.
- Experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and ROI evaluation.
- Previous team management experience preferred.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- CA/CMA or US CPA is an advantage.
- QSR/food retail accounting experience is a plus but not mandatory
