Job Summary
We are looking for an Executive – Orthopaedic Instrument Operations to manage the availability, movement, tracking, and inventory of orthopaedic surgical instruments and implants across hospitals, warehouses, distributors, and field locations.
The role will ensure timely availability of instrument sets and implants for scheduled and emergency surgeries, along with accurate inventory management and logistics coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage allocation and availability of orthopaedic surgical instrument sets.
- Track movement of instrument kits between hospitals, warehouses, distributors, and field locations.
- Coordinate timely dispatch, collection, and return of surgical instruments.
- Monitor implant and instrument inventory and initiate replenishment requirements.
- Conduct stock audits and reconcile physical inventory with ERP records.
- Maintain accurate consignment inventory at hospitals.
- Coordinate with Sales Teams, hospitals, surgeons, distributors, and logistics partners.
- Ensure instrument sets are complete and surgery-ready before dispatch.
- Manage reverse logistics of instruments after surgeries.
- Maintain surgery-wise consumption and batch/lot-level implant records.
- Prepare inventory, utilization, and movement MIS reports.
- Coordinate instrument inspection, maintenance, and repair.
- Identify opportunities to improve inventory accuracy, kit utilization, and turnaround time.
Candidate Requirements
- Graduate in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, Commerce, Engineering, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in inventory, warehouse, logistics, supply chain, or medical device operations.
- Experience in orthopaedic implants, surgical instruments, medical devices, or healthcare supply chain will be preferred.
- Good knowledge of inventory management, stock reconciliation, ERP, and MS Excel.
- Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage urgent requirements and work in a fast-paced environment.
Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
