Site Engineer - Finishing

Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and monitor day-to-day finishing works including plastering, flooring, painting, joinery, false ceiling, sanitary fittings, modular installations, and external façade finishes.
- Ensure execution as per GFC (Good for Construction) drawings, specifications, and approved samples.
- Coordinate with civil, MEP, and interior teams to avoid clashes and ensure smooth progress.
- Ensure that high-end materials and finishes are handled and installed as per standards and mock-ups.
- Maintain the highest quality standards in all finishing activities to reflect the project’s luxury positioning.
- Conduct regular inspections, snag checks, and rectify defects before handover.
- Verify materials and workmanship against approved specifications and ensure compliance with brand quality guidelines.
- Prepare and maintain checklists for each stage of finishing work.
- Submit daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
- Monitor manpower, materials, and tools required for finishing works and raise requisitions proactively.
- Verify subcontractor bills based on executed quantities and site measurements.
- Ensure waste control and proper utilization of materials.
- Conduct joint inspections with quality and client teams during the pre-handover stage.
- Attend to client observations and requirements and coordinate the activities or rectifications prior to handover.
- Support the customer relations and interior coordination teams for the client requests.
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Strong technical knowledge in finishing materials and methodologies.
- Eye for detail and high aesthetic standards suitable for luxury projects.
- Excellent coordination and communication skills.
- Ability to handle multiple finishing teams and subcontractors.
- Proficiency in reading architectural and MEP drawings.
- Familiarity with modern finishing materials, waterproofing, and QA/QC procedures.
- Knowledge of MS Office, AutoCAD, and project management tools.
Qualification & Experience:
- Qualification: Diploma or B.Tech/B.E. in Civil Engineering.
- Experience: 4-7 years of experience in high-rise residential or luxury real estate projects with reputed builders.
- Preferred Background: Exposure to premium projects involving luxury finishes, imported materials, and high-end interiors.
Salary scale:
· 4-5 years’ experience: Rs. 25,000/- – 30,000/- gross monthly depending upon the candidate experience, qualification, knowledge and performance.
