Job Title: CNC Setter Cum Operator
Department: Production
Reports To: Production Supervisor / Production Manager
Job Summary
Responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring CNC machines to produce components as per drawing specifications and quality requirements. Ensure machine productivity, quality standards, and safety compliance during production.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform complete machine setting activities including fixture mounting, tool loading, tool offset setting, and program verification.
- Set up CNC Turning/Machining Center machines for new jobs and production runs.
- Conduct trial runs after machine setting and obtain first-piece approval from Quality.
- Perform tool changeovers and offset corrections during production.
- Operate CNC machines to achieve daily production targets.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and process sheets.
- Carry out in-process inspections using measuring instruments.
- Monitor machine performance and ensure dimensional accuracy of components.
- Minimize machine downtime during job changeovers.
- Maintain production records and follow safety and 5S standards.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
