Job Summary
Appsquadz is looking for a skilled Android Developer with 2+ years of experience to join our development team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in developing, testing, and maintaining high-quality Android applications using modern development practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain Android applications.
- Write clean, scalable, and reusable code.
- Work with UI/UX designers, backend developers, and product teams.
- Integrate REST APIs, JSON, and third-party libraries.
- Debug issues and optimize application performance.
- Ensure application compatibility across Android devices and OS versions.
- Participate in code reviews and follow coding best practices.
- Publish and maintain applications on the Google Play Store when required.
Required Skills
- 2+ years of experience in Android development.
- Strong knowledge of Kotlin and/or Java.
- Hands-on experience with Android SDK and Android Studio.
- Understanding of Android App Lifecycle.
- Experience with REST APIs, JSON, and third-party integrations.
- Knowledge of MVVM/MVP architecture.
- Experience with Git/GitHub.
- Knowledge of SQLite/Room and local storage.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
- Jetpack Components such as ViewModel, LiveData, Navigation, and Room.
- Firebase services including Authentication, Firestore, Analytics, Crashlytics, and Push Notifications.
- Basic understanding of CI/CD.
- Experience with Google Maps, Payment Gateways, or Location Services.
Qualification
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
