1. Position Overview
Atluri Ascend is a premium Grade-A mixed-use tower comprising retail, office and hospitality floors, smart building systems, multi-level basement parking, an Environment Deck, and high footfall from corporate occupiers, visitors and guests. The Security Officer is responsible for safeguarding life, property and assets across the building, ensuring 24/7 security operations, and leading fire and life-safety readiness for the entire premises. The role requires a seasoned security professional who can independently manage a multi-disciplinary security and fire safety function in a high-rise, technology-enabled commercial environment.
2. Key Responsibilities
2.1 Fire & Life Safety (Core Responsibility)
- Act as the building's Certified Fire Safety Officer, holding statutory responsibility for fire prevention, detection and response across all floors, basements and common areas.
- Ensure the Fire Alarm & Public Address system, sprinklers, hydrants, fire pump room and hose reels are tested, serviced and always in a state of readiness.
- Prepare, update and rehearse the building's Fire Safety Plan, Evacuation Plan and Emergency Response Plan; conduct periodic mock drills for office, retail and hospitality occupants.
- Coordinate with local Fire Department, obtain and renew statutory Fire NOC / Fire Safety Certificate, and maintain all fire safety compliance registers and logbooks.
- Lead the initial emergency response for fire, smoke or hazard incidents until handover to the Fire Department; conduct post-incident reporting and root-cause review.
- Train security staff, facility teams and tenant representatives (including Fire Wardens) on fire safety procedures, extinguisher usage and evacuation protocols.
2.2 General Security Operations
- Plan, supervise and audit round-the-clock security coverage for the driveway, drop-off, reception, retail frontage, office floors, hospitality floors, Environment Deck and basement parking levels.
- Manage the Visitor Management Room, ANPR-based vehicle access, boom barriers and driveway security to ensure smooth and secure ingress/egress.
- Monitor and administer the IP-based CCTV surveillance system, NVR storage, and access control systems (including QR/app-based smart entry) for the building and parking levels.
- Oversee security deployment for the Valet Parking, Delivery & Service Bays, and dedicated EV Charging Zones (cars and two-wheelers).
- Coordinate with the Building Management System (BMS) team on access optimization, security status monitoring and integration of elevators, HVAC and utility alarms with security protocols.
- Ensure security coverage and secure handling for high-footfall/high-value zones including the Business Lounge, Business Centre, Conference Rooms, Kids Creche and Digital Lockers.
2.3 Compliance, Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain statutory registers, incident reports, and shift logs; ensure compliance with local police, municipal, labour and fire authority requirements.
- Prepare daily, weekly and monthly security and fire-safety MIS reports for the Facility/General Manager and Management.
- Liaise with local police, fire brigade, municipal authorities and empanelled security agencies for licensing, audits and inspections.
- Ensure PSARA (Private Security Agencies Regulation Act) compliance for deployed security personnel, where applicable.
2.4 Team & Vendor Management
- Recruit, train, roster and supervise in-house/outsourced security personnel across all shifts, including the Executive Lift Lobby and driveway access points.
- Manage third-party vendors for CCTV, fire systems, access control, security equipment maintenance and Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMCs).
- Conduct performance appraisals, discipline management and continuous skill development for the security team.
2.5 Emergency & Crisis Management
- Serve as the first point of contact and incident commander during emergencies (fire, medical, bomb threat, natural disaster, law-and-order situations) until higher authorities take charge.
- Coordinate with the on-site Medical Room / nursing station for first-aid and emergency medical response support.
- Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for evacuation, lockdown, and business continuity.
3. Candidate Profile & Qualifications
- Graduate in any discipline; a diploma/certification in Security Management, Fire & Safety Engineering, or Industrial Safety is preferred.
- Certified Fire Safety Officer (mandatory) — certification from a recognized Fire & Safety institute or National/State Fire Service Board.
- 15–20 years of progressive experience in security and fire safety management, preferably in Grade-A commercial towers, IT/business parks, malls or hospitality establishments.
- Ex-servicemen (Defence/Para-military/Police background) will be given preference.
- Sound working knowledge of CCTV/NVR systems, access control, ANPR, fire alarm & detection systems, and Building Management Systems (BMS).
- Familiarity with PSARA guidelines, local fire and police regulations, and statutory compliance documentation.
- Strong leadership, crisis-management and communication skills; ability to coordinate with tenants, management, contractors and government authorities.
- Physically fit, willing to work in rotational shifts, and available for emergency response on short notice.

5. Working Conditions
Based on-site at Atluri Ascend, Kondapur, HITEC City, Hyderabad. The role involves rotational shift duties including nights, weekends and public holidays, with on-call availability during emergencies. Uniform and statutory PPE will be provided in line with company policy.
Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
