The Canteen Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the canteen, ensuring quality food service, hygiene standards, staff supervision, inventory control, and customer satisfaction. The role includes coordinating kitchen and service staff, monitoring food preparation, and maintaining compliance with safety and sanitation regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily canteen operations and staff activities
- Ensure food is prepared and served on time and according to quality standards
- Monitor cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety practices
- Manage canteen staff schedules, attendance, and performance
- Handle customer complaints and resolve service issues
- Maintain inventory of food supplies, utensils, and cleaning materials
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for stock replenishment
- Monitor food portion control and minimize wastage
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Prepare daily sales, stock, and operational reports
- Train new employees on service standards and hygiene procedures
- Oversee cash handling and billing processes if applicable

Qualifications
