Job Title: Senior MEP Engineer
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Senior MEP Engineer to join our Interior &
Architecture team. The role involves owning the MEP scope of projects end-to-end —
preparing the Design Basis Report, coordinating with external consultants, running clash
detection and model checks, visiting sites, and ensuring what is designed is what gets
built. The candidate must have strong working knowledge across all MEP disciplines and
complete command over Revit.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and own the Design Basis Report (DBR) for the MEP scope, including
design intent, criteria, codes, and equipment basis.
- Review and validate MEP designs across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire-fighting
and low-voltage systems.
- Coordinate with external consultants, contractors, and the client team as the
single point of contact for MEP.
- Run coordination meetings, issue and respond to RFIs, and close out open items
on time.
- Own the MEP Revit model — accuracy, parameters, families, worksets, and
modelling discipline.
- Run clash detection in Navisworks (or equivalent) across MEP-MEP, MEP-Structure,
and MEP-Architecture, and drive clashes to resolution.
- Perform model audits and QA/QC checks before each milestone issue.
- Visit project sites regularly to verify execution against the design and resolve site
queries.

- Lead snagging walks for MEP scope and ensure as-built corrections flow back
into the model.
- Prepare and review MEP drawings, schedules, BOQs, tender documents, and
vendor submittals.
Required Skills & Attributes
- 5+ years of hands-on MEP design experience in AEC / building services projects.
- Strong working knowledge across all MEP disciplines — Mechanical (HVAC),
Electrical, and Plumbing / Public Health / Fire-Fighting.
- Experience writing and owning a Design Basis Report end-to-end.
- Comfortable visiting construction sites, reading installation against drawings, and
resolving issues on the spot.
- Strong coordination skills — able to lead consultant and contractor meetings
clearly and confidently.
- Good working knowledge of applicable codes and standards (ASHRAE, NEC /
IEC, NFPA, NBC, IS, and local norms as relevant).
- Clear written and verbal communication — DBRs, RFIs, and notes are
unambiguous and actionable.
- Reliable, accountable, and detail-oriented.
Software Skills
- Complete command over Revit (MEP) — modelling, families, shared parameters,
worksets, MEP systems, view templates, schedules, and sheet management.
- Hands-on with Navisworks (or equivalent) for federated model review and clash
detection.
- Proficient in AutoCAD for 2D coordination and legacy drawings.
- Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for documentation
and reporting.
- Exposure to Dynamo, Revit API, BIM 360 / ACC, Revizto, or load-calculation tools
(HAP, IES, DIALux, ETAP) is an added advantage
