Job Title: Camp Counselor
Job Summary:
Camp Counselors lead and supervise groups of campers, organize recreational and educational activities, promote teamwork, and ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all participants. They serve as positive role models and help create a memorable camp experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise campers during daily activities, meals, and free time.
- Plan, organize, and lead games, sports, arts and crafts, outdoor adventures, and team-building activities.
- Ensure campers follow camp rules and safety procedures.
- Provide encouragement, guidance, and emotional support to campers.
- Monitor camper behavior and resolve conflicts in a respectful manner.
- Administer basic first aid and respond appropriately to emergencies.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe camp environment.
- Communicate with camp directors and staff regarding camper needs or incidents.
- Assist with camp setup, cleanup, and special events.
- Act as a positive role model by demonstrating responsibility, enthusiasm, and professionalism.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (college students or graduates preferred).
- Experience working with children or youth in camps, schools, sports, or similar settings.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Leadership, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- CPR and First Aid certification (preferred or required by some employers).
- Background check clearance as required.

Working Conditions:

Typical Salary (U.S.):
- Approximately $15–$25 per hour, depending on location, experience, and the type of camp. Residential camps may also provide room and board as part of compensation.
Pay: ₹11,544.47 - ₹27,643.14 per month
