Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer with at least 2 years of experience in manual testing to ensure the delivery of high-quality software applications. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of software testing methodologies, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand business requirements, functional specifications, and application workflows.
- Prepare comprehensive test scenarios, test cases, and test data.
- Perform manual testing of web and mobile applications.
- Validate new features and ensure existing functionalities continue to work as expected.
- Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking tools such as JIRA or Zoho Sprints.
- Retest resolved defects and verify fixes before closure.
- Execute Functional, Regression, Smoke, Integration, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) support as required.
- Collaborate closely with developers, Business Analysts, and other stakeholders to resolve issues efficiently.
- Participate in release validation and production issue verification.
- Maintain test execution reports, defect reports, and provide regular testing status updates.
- Contribute to improving testing processes and quality standards.
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of Software Testing concepts and methodologies.
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in Manual Testing.
- Good knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
- Experience in identifying, documenting, and analyzing software defects.
- Exposure to API Testing using tools such as Postman or similar.
- Familiarity with defect tracking and test management tools such as JIRA or Zoho Sprints.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
