Role Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Academic Quality & Delivery Manager to lead teacher hiring, training, engagement, and academic quality assurance for online learning programs. This role will focus on recruiting high-quality teachers across Indian education boards, with a strong emphasis on CBSE, while ensuring excellence in class delivery, teacher retention, academic monitoring, and content development.
The ideal candidate will drive teacher performance through structured onboarding, mentoring, auditing, and review mechanisms to ensure a consistent and high-quality learning experience aligned with Tutoroot’s teaching methodology.
Key Responsibilities:

Teacher Hiring, Training & Development

Lead recruitment and selection of high-quality teachers across Indian education boards, with a specific focus on CBSE educators.

Design and implement onboarding and ongoing training programs for new and existing teachers.

Conduct demo lesson evaluations and mock sessions to assess teaching quality.

Develop teaching resources, SOPs, and instructional frameworks to standardize class delivery.

Organize workshops, feedback sessions, and micro-trainings to continuously enhance teaching effectiveness.

Teacher Engagement & Retention

Build strong teacher engagement initiatives to create a positive and collaborative teaching ecosystem.

Develop retention strategies to minimize teacher attrition on the platform.

Foster strong relationships with teachers through regular communication, recognition programs, and feedback mechanisms.

Act as a key point of contact for teacher concerns, growth opportunities, and professional development.

Academic Quality Oversight & Audit

Monitor recorded classes to assess instructional quality, student engagement, and overall learning experience.

Maintain structured rubrics for evaluating teaching performance.

Identify improvement areas and create personalized teacher development plans.

Ensure all sessions align with Tutoroot’s teaching methodology and academic standards.

Monitor academic progress across subjects and grade levels through structured review mechanisms.

Implement periodic academic audits and performance reviews to ensure delivery excellence.

Academic Content Collaboration

Collaborate with teachers to curate and develop high-quality academic content aligned with curriculum requirements.

Support creation of lesson plans, practice materials, assessments, and enrichment resources.

Ensure content quality, consistency, and alignment with board-specific standards.

Student Progress Monitoring & Academic Outcomes

Monitor and track student academic progress across subjects and grade levels to ensure learning objectives are being achieved.

Analyse student performance data, assessments, and feedback to identify learning gaps and improvement opportunities.

Collaborate with teachers to implement intervention strategies for students requiring additional academic support.

Establish structured review mechanisms to evaluate student outcomes and learning effectiveness.

Ensure timely tracking of student progress metrics and maintain academic performance reports.

Work closely with academic and operations teams to improve student retention, satisfaction, and learning outcomes.

Recommend academic enhancements based on student performance trends and classroom insights.

Reporting & Communication

Maintain teacher performance dashboards and academic progress reports.

Track teacher engagement, performance trends, and attrition metrics.

Collaborate with operations and scheduling teams to align teacher readiness and capacity.

Escalate quality or compliance concerns and propose corrective action plans.
Qualifications:
Graduation or above.
5+ years of experience in academic quality, teacher training, instructional coaching, academic operations, or edtech management.
Experience in teacher hiring and management within K-12 or online education environments.
Strong understanding of CBSE curriculum and Indian education boards.
Proven experience in teacher performance management and engagement initiatives.
