Job Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day restaurant operations and ensure smooth functioning of all departments.
- Supervise restaurant staff, including service, kitchen, cashier and housekeeping teams.
- Ensure excellent customer service and handle customer complaints professionally.
- Monitor daily sales, expenses, food costs and operational performance.
- Ensure proper inventory management, stock control and minimum food wastage.
- Maintain food quality, portion control and service standards.
- Prepare and review daily sales and operational reports.
- Manage staff scheduling, attendance, training and performance.
- Ensure compliance with hygiene, food safety, health and safety standards.
- Coordinate with suppliers and ensure timely availability of required materials.
- Monitor restaurant cleanliness, ambience and overall presentation.
- Implement SOPs and improve operational efficiency.
- Achieve sales and revenue targets set by management.
- Control operational costs and identify areas for improvement.
- Coordinate with the management team for promotions, events and business development activities.
Requirements
- Graduate or Diploma in Hotel Management/Hospitality preferred.
- 4–8 years of relevant experience in restaurant operations.
- Strong team-handling and leadership skills.
- Good knowledge of restaurant operations, food costing and inventory management.
- Excellent communication and customer-handling skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Good knowledge of POS systems and basic MS Excel.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple responsibilities.
- Flexible to work rotational shifts, weekends and holidays.
