Role description
QM: SAP QM Consultant with 10+ years of experience
Key Responsibilities
- Configure and support SAP Quality Management (QM) processes across the automotive value chain
- Work with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into SAP solutions
- Design and implement solutions for:
- Quality planning
- Inspection characteristics and inspection plans
- Goods receipt inspection
- In-process inspection
- Usage decisions
- Quality notifications
- Nonconformance handling
- Supplier quality processes
- Integrate SAP QM with related modules such as: MM, PP, SD, WM/EWM, FICO
- Support quality processes for incoming materials, production, and customer complaints
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, procurement, engineering, and quality assurance
- Conduct testing, defect resolution, and user training
- Support go-live, hypercare, and post-implementation enhancements
- Ensure compliance with automotive quality requirements and internal quality standards
- Prepare functional specifications and support interfaces, reports, and enhancements
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Business, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in SAP QM
- Experience in automotive manufacturing or supply chain environments
- Strong knowledge of SAP QM configuration and end-to-end processes
- Experience with SAP integration across logistics and production modules
- Familiarity with quality methodologies and automotive standards
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Analytical and detail-oriented
- Strong business process understanding
- Ability to work independently and in teams
- Customer-focused mindset
- Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with S/4HANA
- Knowledge of PPAP, APQP, FMEA, SPC, or other automotive quality tools
- Exposure to supplier quality and customer quality processes
- Experience in global, multi-site manufacturing environments
- SAP certification in QM or related modules
