MOLEX is seeking a contribution-minded Collections Analyst to join our global Collections Team. What You Will Do
- Apply daily customer payments accurately and timely in the ERP system, including checks, wire transfers, ACH, and credit card transactions.
- Research and resolve unapplied, unidentified, or misapplied cash by reviewing remittance details and coordinating with relevant stakeholders.
- Perform routine reconciliations of cash receipts, customer accounts, and bank-related transactions to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Partner with internal teams such as Collections, Credit, Customer Service, Sales, and Treasury to resolve payment discrepancies and support smooth cash posting.
- Maintain accurate documentation and records of cash application activities in line with company policies and audit requirements.
- Support month-end close activities by ensuring cash postings are completed within defined timelines and open items are appropriately tracked.
- Prepare and share basic reports or updates on cash application status, exceptions, and aging items as needed.
- Follow standard operating procedures and internal controls to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and actively contribute ideas to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and customer experience.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or accounting OR a High School diploma/GED
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite or Office 365; that includes Excel (spreadsheet creation/editing, pivot tables, data manipulation/v-lookup/what-if logic)
- Detail oriented, with ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
What Will Put You Ahead
- One or more years of relevant experience (i.e. AR, AP functional roles)
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx or other data visualization software/tools
- Proficient with SAP
- Exposure to and working knowledge of GetPaid
- Process Transformation / Process Automation / Process Implementation experience
- Language skills in addition to English
