Main Responsibilities of Store Manager
1. Stock Management
- Maintain proper stock of all products.
- Check incoming and outgoing stock daily.
- Avoid stock shortage and overstock.
- Monitor fast-moving and slow-moving items.
- Ensure FIFO method (First In First Out) is followed.
- Check expiry dates regularly.
2. Goods Receiving
- Receive products from suppliers and companies.
- Verify quantity, quality, batch number, and expiry date.
- Match products with purchase invoice and delivery challan.
- Report damaged or missing items immediately.
3. Warehouse Arrangement
- Keep store clean and organized.
- Arrange products category-wise and brand-wise.
- Separate frozen, chilled, and dry products properly.
- Maintain proper temperature for dairy and frozen items.
- Ensure easy access for picking and dispatch.
4. Order Processing
- Receive order details from sales team/customers.
- Prepare products according to invoice.
- Ensure correct quantity and correct brand are packed.
- Avoid wrong supply and short supply.
5. Dispatch & Delivery Coordination
- Coordinate with drivers and delivery staff.
- Ensure timely dispatch to customers.
- Verify invoice before vehicle dispatch.
- Track pending deliveries.
6. Inventory Control
- Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly stock checking.
- Update stock in software or register.
- Identify stock differences and report immediately.
- Reduce wastage, leakage, and damage.
7. Expiry & Damage Control
- Monitor near-expiry products.
- Inform sales team to clear near-expiry stock.
- Separate damaged products.
- Maintain records for returns and claims.
8. Team Management
- Supervise helpers, loaders, pickers, and drivers.
- Assign daily work responsibilities.
- Ensure staff discipline and attendance.
- Train staff for proper handling of products.
9. Documentation Work
- Maintain:
- GRN (Goods Receipt Note)
- Stock register
- Delivery challan
- Return records
- Damage records
- Dispatch details
- Coordinate with accounts and purchase department.
10. Customer Service Support
- Ensure correct products reach customers on time.
- Handle urgent supply requirements.
- Coordinate for replacement of damaged/wrong items.
- Maintain good relationship with customers.
Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹28,000.00 per month
