We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Cyber Security Researcher to join our growing cybersecurity team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for researching emerging cyber threats, identifying security vulnerabilities, conducting penetration testing, and developing innovative security solutions. This role is ideal for professionals who enjoy continuous learning, ethical hacking, and solving complex security challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct research on emerging cyber threats, vulnerabilities, malware, and attack techniques.
- Perform Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT) on web applications, APIs, mobile applications, networks, and cloud environments.
- Identify, validate, and document security vulnerabilities with detailed remediation recommendations.
- Analyze malware, phishing campaigns, and security incidents.
- Monitor CVEs, security advisories, and threat intelligence feeds.
- Develop Proof of Concepts (PoCs) to demonstrate security vulnerabilities.
- Create technical reports and present findings to internal teams and clients.
- Research new security tools, technologies, and attack methodologies.
- Collaborate with development teams to improve application security.
- Participate in internal security research projects and publish research findings when appropriate.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of networking protocols, operating systems, and web technologies.
- Hands-on experience with penetration testing and vulnerability assessment.
- Knowledge of OWASP Top 10, MITRE ATT&CK Framework, and CVSS.
- Familiarity with tools such as Burp Suite, Nmap, Metasploit, Wireshark, Nessus, Kali Linux, and SQLMap.
- Basic scripting knowledge in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and report-writing skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Experience in bug bounty hunting or responsible vulnerability disclosure.
- Knowledge of cloud security (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Familiarity with reverse engineering or malware analysis.
- Certifications such as CEH, eJPT, PNPT, OSCP, Security+, or similar are an added advantage.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
