Job Summary:
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Fresher Freight Broker who has completed a Freight Broker Course or Certification and is interested in building a career in logistics and transportation brokerage. The candidate will support freight operations by connecting shippers with carriers, managing loads, and ensuring smooth communication throughout the shipment process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in sourcing and coordinating freight shipments with carriers and clients.
- Build and maintain relationships with trucking companies and transportation partners.
- Communicate with carriers regarding load availability, rates, pickup, and delivery schedules.
- Negotiate freight rates under the guidance of senior team members.
- Track shipments and provide regular updates to customers.
- Maintain accurate records of freight movements and brokerage transactions.
- Support documentation and compliance processes.
- Resolve shipment issues and coordinate solutions proactively.
- Use CRM, TMS, and freight platforms to manage operations efficiently.
- Meet assigned KPIs and contribute to business growth.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Graduate in any discipline (Logistics/Supply Chain preferred).
- Completed Freight Broker Training Course / Certification.
- Freshers are welcome to apply.
- Basic understanding of freight brokerage, logistics, and transportation processes.
- Good communication and negotiation skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office and basic computer applications.
