Job Summary
The Operations Head will oversee end-to-end operational functions, including procurement, vendor management, inventory control, logistics coordination, and process compliance for medical device distribution. The role is responsible for ensuring cost efficiency, operational excellence, and seamless coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the complete operations lifecycle covering procurement, inventory management,logistics, and vendor coordination
- Oversee the process from purchase requisition to payment, ensuring proper approvals and documentation.
- Drive vendor selection, evaluation, negotiation, and finalization to achieve optimal commercial and service terms
- Manage procurement and operations teams, assigning responsibilities and tracking performance through daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports
- Build and maintain vendor relationships, ensuring timely deliveries, accurate GRN
processing, and resolution of shortages or discrepancies.
- Coordinate closely with internal teams to support demand planning, inventory optimization and management
- Ensure accurate system entries and documentation in SAP systems
- Monitor operational KPIs, costs, and turnaround times, and drive continuous process improvement initiatives
Qualifications and Skills
- 4 plus years of experience in operations, procurement, or supply chain management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain, or any related field
- Proven leadership capabilities with experience managing cross-functional teams
- Strong negotiation, vendor management, and analytical skills
Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹700,000.00 per year
