Job Summary
The HR Assistant is responsible for supporting daily HR operations, maintaining employee records, monitoring attendance and leave, assisting in payroll processing, coordinating recruitment activities, and ensuring compliance with company HR policies and procedures.
Key ResponsibilitiesAttendance & Time Office
- Monitor daily attendance through biometric systems and attendance registers.
- Maintain employee attendance records and shift details.
- Process leave applications and maintain leave records.
- Coordinate with department supervisors for attendance verification.
Payroll Support
- Prepare attendance data for monthly payroll processing.
- Update new joiners, resignations, salary revisions, and deductions.
- Assist in salary processing, statutory deductions, and payroll documentation.
Employee Records
- Maintain employee personal files and HR documentation.
- Update employee master data and HR registers.
- Prepare appointment letters, confirmation letters, ID cards, and other HR documents.
Recruitment & Onboarding
- Schedule interviews and coordinate with candidates.
- Collect joining documents from new employees.
- Assist in employee induction and onboarding processes.
Statutory Compliance
- Support PF, ESI, PT, and labor law compliance activities.
- Maintain statutory records and employee documentation.
- Assist during labor inspections and audits.
HR Administration
- Maintain inward and outward HR records.
- Coordinate employee welfare activities.
- Handle employee queries related to attendance, leave, salary, and HR policies.
- Support disciplinary documentation, warning letters, and HR communications.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in HR operations, preferably in a manufacturing or plant environment.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of attendance and payroll processes.
- Basic knowledge of PF, ESI, and labor laws.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and HR software.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and accurate records.
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
