Job Summary
The Spanish Teacher is responsible for planning and delivering engaging Spanish language instruction that develops students' listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills. The teacher will create a positive learning environment, encourage cultural awareness, and assess student progress while supporting the school's academic standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver effective Spanish language lessons aligned with the curriculum.
- Teach Spanish grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, conversation, reading, and writing skills.
- Develop lesson plans, worksheets, presentations, and other instructional materials.
- Foster students' confidence in speaking and communicating in Spanish.
- Assess student performance through assignments, projects, oral presentations, quizzes, and examinations.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, and academic progress.
- Provide timely feedback to students and parents regarding performance and improvement areas.
- Integrate technology and interactive teaching methodologies into classroom instruction.
- Organize language-related activities, competitions, cultural events, and celebrations.
- Differentiate instruction to accommodate diverse learning needs and abilities.
- Maintain classroom discipline and ensure a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development programs, and school events.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance interdisciplinary learning experiences.
- Perform other academic and administrative duties assigned by the school management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Spanish, Foreign Languages, Education, or a related field.
- Certification or diploma in Spanish language proficiency (preferred).
- B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification (preferred for school positions).
- DELE certification or equivalent Spanish language certification is an added advantage.
Experience
- 1–5 years of teaching experience in Spanish at a school or educational institution.
- Freshers with strong Spanish language proficiency may also be considered.

Working Conditions
- Full-time position.
- May be required to supervise extracurricular activities, language clubs, cultural programs, educational trips, and school events.
