A Site Engineer is responsible for supervising construction activities, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and according to design specifications and quality standards. They coordinate between contractors, architects, project managers, and clients while managing technical and on-site operations. Key Responsibilities Supervise day-to-day construction site activities Ensure work is carried out according to drawings, specifications, and safety standards Monitor project progress and prepare site reports Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants Conduct site inspections and quality checks Manage labor, materials, and equipment on site Resolve technical issues and provide engineering support Ensure compliance with local building regulations and company policies Maintain project documentation and records Support project scheduling and cost control Required Skills Knowledge of construction methods and engineering principles Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills Good communication and teamwork abilities Project management and organizational skills Familiarity with construction software such as AutoCAD, MS Project, or Primavera Understanding of health and safety regulations Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or related field Previous construction or site management experience preferred Professional certifications may be advantageous depending on the country or employer
