About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Remote Auto Parts Listing & Customer Service Specialist to manage our digital sales channels. This is a strictly computer-based, remote position with no physical yard work required. The successful candidate will be responsible for listing inventory across multiple platforms, handling all customer inquiries, and actively sourcing scrap vehicles for purchase.
Key Responsibilities
- Inventory Listing: Accurately list automotive parts on Car-part.com, Facebook Marketplace, and eBay, including uploading photos, writing descriptions, and setting competitive pricing.
- Vehicle Sourcing: Actively monitor Facebook Marketplace and other classified platforms to identify and purchase vehicles.
- Customer Service: Respond promptly to all phone calls, Facebook messages, and platform inquiries regarding part availability, pricing, fitment, and shipping.
- Inquiry Management: Handle calls from individuals looking to scrap their vehicles—provide quotes, schedule pickups, and collect necessary vehicle information.
- Order Processing: Coordinate with internal yard staff (who provide photos and handle physical inventory) to ensure listings are accurate and fulfill orders correctly.
- Team Leadership (Future): After the initial 6-month period, manage and mentor a small team of 2–3 remote listing assistants.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Language: Fluent in English (both written and spoken) with excellent communication skills to interact professionally with North American customers.
- Experience: Proven background or prior work experience in the automotive parts industry, auto salvage, or a related mechanical field. Familiarity with auto part identification, vehicle makes/models, and basic mechanical terminology is mandatory.
- Platform Knowledge: Hands-on experience with Ebay, and Facebook Marketplace is strongly preferred.
- Technical Skills: Comfortable working with spreadsheets, online databases, and multiple browser tabs simultaneously.
- Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail, ability to multitask, and a customer-oriented mindset. Must handle high call volumes and message traffic with professionalism.
Working Conditions
- This is a fully remote position. Candidates must have a stable internet connection, a quiet workspace, and a reliable computer/headset.
- Strict adherence to the listed working hours in Canadian Standard Time is mandatory to align with business operations and customer availability.
Compensation & Growth Opportunities
- Starting Salary: ₹35,000 per month (during the initial 6-month probationary period).
- Salary Increase: Upon successful completion of 6 months, demonstrating consistent performance and flawless execution of responsibilities, the salary will increase to ₹50,000 per month.
- Leadership Path: High-performing candidates will be promoted to a Team Lead / Manager position, overseeing a team of 2–3 remote staff members.
