Job Summary
We are seeking an engaging and knowledgeable TGT Social Science Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for humanities and the ability to make History, Geography, Political Science, and Economics come alive for students. You will be responsible for simplifying complex historical events, global geographic phenomena, and civic structures, helping students develop critical thinking and a strong understanding of the world around them in strict alignment with the CBSE curriculum.
Key Responsibilities
- Curriculum Delivery: Prepare and deliver well-structured lesson plans covering all four branches of Social Science (History, Geography, Political Science, Economics) as per CBSE guidelines.
- Interactive Learning: Utilize maps, globes, historical documentaries, and digital media to create an immersive and interactive learning experience.
- Critical Thinking & Awareness: Encourage students to analyze historical events, understand democratic processes, and stay updated on current global and national affairs.
- Assessment & Evaluation: Design exams, quizzes, and project work. Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback to ensure academic growth.
- Co-Curricular Activities: Organize educational field trips, mock parliaments, model UN sessions, and heritage quizzes.
- Parent Communication: Maintain clear and regular communication with parents regarding student progress and behavior during Parent-Teacher Meetings (PTMs).
Mandatory Qualifications
- Academic Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree (B.A.) from a recognized university with at least two of the following subjects: History, Geography, Economics, or Political Science. (Note: As per CBSE norms, at least one of these two subjects must be History or Geography).
- Professional Qualification: B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) with Social Science as a teaching subject.
