Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Accounting Intern to support our finance team with day-to-day accounting operations. The intern will gain hands-on experience in accounting processes, inventory tracking, and documentation while working closely with the accounts department.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in maintaining accurate financial records and accounting entries
- Support inventory tracking and reconciliation using inventory management software
- Prepare and manage challans, invoices, and other accounting documents
- Assist with data entry, ledger maintenance, and basic bookkeeping tasks
- Coordinate with stores, sales, and logistics teams for inventory-related documentation
- Help with audits, stock verification, and monthly reports
- Perform other accounting and administrative tasks as assigned
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles
- Experience or familiarity with inventory management software
- Ability to create and manage challans accurately
- Proficiency in Tally software, MS Excel and basic computer applications
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of GST, invoicing, and inventory control processes
- Experience with accounting software (e.g., Tally, ERP systems) is a plus
