We are looking for an experienced CNC Profile Cutting Supervisor to oversee and manage CNC profile cutting operations. The candidate will be responsible for supervising operators, ensuring production targets, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring the safe and efficient operation of CNC Plasma and/or Oxy-Fuel cutting machines.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily CNC profile cutting operations and production activities.
- Allocate work and responsibilities to CNC Profile Cutting Operators.
- Ensure production schedules and daily targets are achieved.
- Monitor CNC Plasma and/or Oxy-Fuel cutting operations.
- Review engineering drawings, cutting plans, and production requirements.
- Ensure correct machine settings and cutting parameters are used based on material specifications.
- Monitor cutting quality, dimensions, and accuracy of finished profiles.
- Coordinate with the Quality team to address defects and quality issues.
- Minimize material wastage and improve material utilization.
- Ensure proper loading, positioning, and handling of metal plates.
- Troubleshoot operational issues and coordinate with the Maintenance team for machine breakdowns.
- Monitor machine performance and ensure preventive maintenance activities are carried out.
- Train and guide CNC Profile Cutting Operators on machine operation and safety procedures.
- Maintain production records, machine reports, and material consumption details.
- Coordinate with Production, Planning, Quality, and Maintenance departments.
- Ensure proper housekeeping and workplace discipline.
- Enforce safety procedures and ensure all employees use the required PPE.
Required Skills
- Strong experience in CNC Profile Cutting operations.
- Knowledge of CNC Plasma and Oxy-Fuel cutting machines.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering and fabrication drawings.
- Knowledge of metal materials, plate thickness, cutting parameters, and tolerances.
- Experience in supervising production teams.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of quality inspection and defect identification.
- Good leadership and team management skills.
Education
- Diploma / ITI in Mechanical, Production, Manufacturing, or a relevant technical field.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
