Key Responsibilities
- Develop innovative machine concepts based on customer requirements.
- Design and create 3D models of machines, assemblies, and components using CAD software.
- Prepare detailed assemblies, sub-assemblies, and design documentation.
- Generate and maintain accurate Bill of Materials (BOM).
- Perform design calculations and engineering feasibility studies.
- Coordinate with manufacturing, procurement, and project teams for successful execution.
- Optimize designs for manufacturability, cost, quality, and performance.
- Support prototype development, assembly, testing, and commissioning activities.
- Ensure compliance with engineering standards, safety requirements, and customer specifications.
Required Skills
- Strong experience in Concept Design and machine development.
- Proficiency in 3D Modeling using SolidWorks, or similar CAD software.
- Hands-on experience in preparing and managing BOMs.
- Good understanding of SPMs, industrial automation, machine design, and manufacturing processes.
- Knowledge of fabrication, machining, pneumatics, and mechanical systems.
- Familiarity with GD&T, engineering standards, and design documentation.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Qualification
- B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in machine design, SPMs, industrial automation, or customized engineering solutions.
