Job Summary
We are looking for a responsible and compassionate Dialysis Technician to join our dialysis unit. The candidate will assist in providing safe and effective dialysis treatment to patients under the supervision of the nephrologist and nursing team.
Freshers with the required educational qualification are welcome to apply. Candidates with prior dialysis experience will also be considered.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and operate dialysis machines and related equipment as per hospital protocols.
- Set up dialysis equipment, dialyzers, bloodlines, and other required supplies.
- Monitor patients and dialysis parameters during treatment.
- Record vital signs and treatment-related observations accurately.
- Assist in cannulation/vascular access procedures as permitted by training and hospital policy.
- Maintain proper infection-control and aseptic practices.
- Identify and promptly report any abnormalities or complications to the nursing/medical team.
- Clean, disinfect, and maintain dialysis machines and equipment.
- Ensure availability and proper handling of dialysis consumables.
- Maintain accurate patient and treatment records.
- Follow hospital safety, quality, and emergency protocols.
- Provide appropriate support and reassurance to patients during dialysis.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dialysis unit.
Eligibility & Qualifications
- Diploma/Certificate in Dialysis Technology / Dialysis Technician course or equivalent qualification.
- Freshers are welcome to apply.
- Candidates with previous experience in a dialysis unit will be preferred but not mandatory.
- Basic knowledge of dialysis procedures, infection control, and patient care.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team.
- Willingness to work in shifts, including weekends/holidays if required.
