Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Purchase Executive with a strong background in the tea garden or tea manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in procurement, vendor management, and purchasing of tea-related materials while ensuring cost efficiency and timely availability of supplies.
Key Responsibilities
- Procure tea leaves, packaging materials, machinery spares, fertilizers, chemicals, and other operational requirements.
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers.
- Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
- Generate Purchase Orders (POs) and monitor order execution.
- Coordinate with production, warehouse, and accounts teams.
- Compare quotations and finalize vendors based on quality, price, and delivery.
- Monitor inventory levels to avoid shortages or excess stock.
- Ensure timely procurement while maintaining quality standards.
- Prepare procurement reports and maintain purchase records.
- Handle vendor performance evaluation and cost optimization.
Requirements
- 3–6 years of experience as a Purchase Executive in a Tea Garden or Tea Manufacturing industry.
- Good knowledge of procurement processes and vendor management.
- Experience in negotiating with suppliers.
- Knowledge of inventory management.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP/Tally software.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Graduate in any discipline (preferred).
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
