Japanese & Chinese Chef – Job Description
We are looking for a skilled and passionate Japanese & Chinese Chef with strong knowledge of Pan-Asian cuisine, kitchen operations, and food presentation. The candidate should have hands-on experience in preparing authentic Japanese and Chinese dishes while maintaining quality, hygiene, and consistency standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and present authentic Japanese and Chinese dishes as per restaurant standards.
- Handle sushi, dim sums, wok cooking, ramen, tempura, stir-fry, and specialty Asian preparations.
- Maintain food quality, taste consistency, and presentation standards.
- Ensure proper mise en place and kitchen readiness during operations.
- Monitor food stock, inventory, and kitchen wastage control.
- Follow hygiene, sanitation, and food safety standards at all times.
- Coordinate with kitchen and service teams for smooth operations.
- Train and guide junior kitchen staff when required.
- Support menu planning and new dish development.
Requirements
- Minimum 3–8 years of experience in Japanese and/or Chinese cuisine.
- Strong knowledge of Pan-Asian ingredients, sauces, and cooking techniques.
- Experience in fine dining, premium casual dining, or hotel kitchens preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Culinary diploma or hotel management qualification preferred.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
