Job Description for CNC Turning Operator
· Read and interpret technical drawings, understand Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing and 3D CAD models for injection mould components.
· Setup and operate CNC turning machines to produce mould components including nozzles, neck inserts, cores, and cavities, Etc.
· Monitor machine performance and ensure continuous and efficient operation during production cycles.
· Select appropriate tools and cutting parameters for turning operations on hardened and pre-hardened material.
· Optimize cutting speeds, feeds, and depth of cuts for surface finish and dimensional accuracy, especially for sealing areas and threaded elements in moulds.
· Strong understanding of CNC lathe operation and programming basics (FANUC or Siemens controls).
· Use measuring tools like Verniers, micrometres, bore gauges, surface testers, and height gauges to inspect parts.
· Maintain machining logs, and tool life record as per company norms.
· Conduct preventive maintenance tasks such as lubrication, Coolant level, Chip removal, cleaning, and alignment checks.
· Maintain cleanliness in the machine area to ensure safe and efficient work conditions.
· Collaborate with design, tool room, and quality teams for feedback and process improvements.
Roles and Responsibilities of Design Head
· Responsible for the management of all design activities including RFQ (request for Quotation) Design freeze / release. Design verification/product validation (DV/PV) testing and Computer aided engineering (CAE) and reverse engineering (RE).
· Lead the team to create a range of 3D models and 2D models for several proposal /production and development system, product and component using CAD.
· Approve 3D designs, 2D drawings, BOMs (Bill of material), and ensure alignment with manufacturing capabilities.
· Present design, cost, changes, and budgetary information effectively to senior and provide regular progress report.
· Responsible for Mould design and costing for Preform mould (hot runner & hot plate) ISBM, Caps & Clouser mould, Extrusion Blow mould, Blow mould.
· Participate in customer technical discussions, design approvals, and problem resolution related to mould performance.
· Collaborate with project management, tool room, production, and customer support teams to align design deliverables with production schedules.
· Maintain a complete database of Design checklists, revision history, tolerance charts, bill of materials.
· Assing work to team and follow up to complete the project on time.
· Strong analytical and decision-making abilities.
· High attention to detail with problem-solving attitude.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
