Job Summary
We are looking for a dedicated QC Microbiologist to join our Quality Control team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in microbiological testing within the pharmaceutical industry and a good understanding of GMP and laboratory practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine microbiological analysis of raw materials, finished products, water, and environmental samples.
- Conduct Environmental Monitoring (EM) and Water Testing.
- Prepare and maintain culture media and microbial cultures.
- Perform microbial limit tests, sterility testing, and related microbiological analyses.
- Maintain laboratory documentation as per GMP and GLP guidelines.
- Ensure proper calibration and maintenance of microbiology laboratory instruments.
- Investigate microbiological deviations and support CAPA implementation.
- Follow SOPs and ensure compliance with quality and regulatory standards.
Required Qualifications
- B.Sc. Microbiology or M.Sc. Microbiology
- Experience: 1–3 years in a Pharmaceutical QC Microbiology Laboratory.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of GMP, GLP, and microbiological laboratory practices.
- Experience in Environmental Monitoring and Water Testing.
- Familiarity with microbiological testing techniques and documentation.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
