1. Recruitment & Staffing:
- Coordinate recruitment of clinical (doctors, nurses, technicians) and non-clinical staff.
- Liaise with department heads to understand staffing needs.
- Conduct background checks and credential verification for healthcare professionals.
2. Onboarding & Credentialing:
- Ensure proper onboarding and orientation for all staff, including hospital protocols, infection control, and safety practices.
- Maintain updated records of licenses, registrations, and certifications of medical staff.
3. Attendance & Duty Roster Coordination:
- Manage biometric attendance and prepare duty rosters in coordination with unit heads.
- Monitor shift adherence, late marks, and absenteeism.
4. Payroll Coordination:
- Collect and validate attendance and shift data for payroll.
- Coordinate with the finance/accounts team to ensure timely disbursement of salaries and allowances (including night shifts, OT, etc.).
5. Leave Management:
- Track and manage leaves as per hospital leave policies.
- Ensure minimal disruption to patient care during staff absences.
6. Training & Compliance:
- Assist in organizing CME sessions, BLS/ACLS training, fire safety drills, etc.
- Maintain training logs and staff competency records.
- Ensure staff compliance with NABH/JCI standards where applicable.
7. Employee Welfare & Engagement:
- Plan and execute welfare initiatives and recognition programs for healthcare workers.
- Address staff grievances promptly and empathetically.
8. HR Records & Legal Compliance:
- Maintain complete employee records, including health check reports, indemnity insurance, and contract renewals.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, ESI, PF, and other statutory norms.
9. Exit Formalities:
- Facilitate smooth offboarding, exit interviews, and clearance processes.
- Prepare final settlement details in coordination with finance.
