Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Business Development Manager role based in Navi Mumbai. The Business Development Manager will identify and pursue new business opportunities in water, wastewater, environmental consultancy, water resource management, and solid waste management sectors. Day-to-day responsibilities include prospecting and qualifying leads, building and maintaining client relationships, preparing proposals and bids, and coordinating with technical teams to align solutions with client requirements. The role involves conducting market research, tracking industry trends, supporting pricing and contract negotiations, and representing the company in meetings, presentations, and industry events. The Business Development Manager will also collaborate with leadership to define growth strategies, set sales targets, and monitor performance against business development goals.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in client relationship management, stakeholder engagement, and consultative selling in engineering or environmental services.
- Experience in lead generation, opportunity qualification, and sales pipeline management, including use of CRM or similar tools.
- Ability to prepare and present technical and commercial proposals, with solid skills in business communication and presentation.
- Familiarity with environmental regulations and standards related to water, wastewater treatment, and solid waste management is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, environmental science, business, or a related field; advanced qualifications are a plus.
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving abilities, including market research and competitor analysis.
- Capacity to work on-site in Navi Mumbai, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Prior experience in business development or sales in infrastructure, environmental consulting, or allied sectors is highly beneficial.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
