EXPERIENCE: 2 Y TO 5 Y.
1. Create and Track RGP (Returnable Gate Pass)
- Create the RGP document for material sent to a vendor, customer, or service provider.
- Record:
- Material code
- Quantity
- Serial/batch numbers (if applicable)
- Purpose of dispatch
- Dispatch date and expected return date
- Track the RGP status through SAP reports or a custom RGP tracking transaction.
2. Arrange Return Pickup
- Coordinate pickup with the transporter/vendor.
- Collect supporting documents:
- Original RGP copy
- Delivery challan
- Transport document (LR/AWB)
- Return material list
- Vendor/customer acknowledgment
3. Goods Receipt Against RGP Return
- When material is received back:
- Verify quantity and condition.
- Post the receipt in SAP using the relevant goods movement transaction (commonly via inventory movement transactions defined by your organization).
- Update the RGP tracking record.
4. Documentation Verification
Ensure the following documents are available:
- RGP number
- Return challan
- Transport proof
- Inspection/acceptance report (if required)
- Goods receipt reference in SAP
5. RGP Closing in SAP
- Confirm that:
- Full quantity has been returned.
- Goods receipt is posted.
- No pending balance quantity exists.
- Update the RGP status to Closed in the RGP tracking system or custom SAP transaction.
- Archive supporting documents according to company policy.
